I AM ANYTHING BUT INTERESTED TO YOU

I can never get enough to someone who tried to text someone else by asking about something that supposed not to asked. It is perfectly okay if you asked that for one or two times but it is getting boring if you asked that for million of times and I have come to the point where I am anything but interested to you.

If you are a type a person who likes to stay to your phone most of the time, I could say that you're kind of person who like to spend most of your time by yourself. On the other side, you probably puzzled about what things to say. Like, "umm, what should I say?, is it okay to say this? will she/he will likes when I say things like that? and many more. Or perhaps, you are being cautious about what words to say. Don't worry! you are still normal because I used to do the same way.

Most of the time I've met people, they tend to open the conversation by saying "hi" only. I wouldn't judge them if they don't know how to start a good conversation or people who choose to start the conversation by texting that word, but having a good opening is always make you feel special in people's eyes. Please don't expect me that I am a smooth talker too! some of them are ghosting me as well. I guess because I am not that attractive enough in texting. But of course that is not the only reason but that is one of million reasons they choose to leave you.

Before we get started to the point where I will explain you, I need to remind you again that not every things I described to you is the best choice but I believe you that it will useful and worked for you like it worked for me.

Make Them Remember You
All you need to do is to grab the other person’s attention. Anyone can message “Heyyy, How was your day? What are you doing? or how are you?." Make them remember you. If you’re confident, send something funny or a bit risque.

Pay Attention To Her/His Profile
I believe that some of you make a haste to text when you saw someone else profile because of her/his look not because of her/his interesting biodata. But anyway that is acceptable because that is the only thing that stands out. But, if you choose to text that adorable person, you should see her/his biodata if they write something on it. The biodata could you use for looking for a topic to talk.

Choose A Common Topic
If you tried to be creative but you runned out of ideas, choose a common topic to talk is the best choice. I mean, we have to keep the conversation going no matter what, don't we? I don't want to wait just to look for a topic to talk. Come on..

Start With A Compliment
Open with a compliment – pick out something you like about their photos to show you’ve actually looked at them. Stuff that people put effort into, school that they went into, hobbies that they like about, and many more.

Be A Mysterious Person
If we've found someone who is the same frequency as us, there is a time we cannot stop talking about anything. What I am trying to say is, do not too open to someone new. If you become mysterious, they will surely interested to you.

Use A Pick Up Line(?)
I know it sounds cheesy because is the pick up line still exist in this era? But did you know? According to some sources that I have read, some people like to received a text by using a pick up line. Some of them found it funny and some of them found it as a good way to start a conversation. So, have you tried?

Just Be Straightforward
Who needs small talk if you could talk to the point? You either could start with a statement, opinion of something, or a question to ask.

Everything I have written seems more suitable to those who wants to start a conversation going through texting with someone else. But the tips surely could you use for meeting someone new in real life. Like you wait for the bus alone and your phone is off, so you want to talk to a stranger whom you met, or you are interested to talk to someone whom you have seen for a while but you don't have a courage to begin, and many more.

THE COURAGE TO BE DISLIKED BOOK REVIEW

Buku The Courage To Be Disliked merupakan salah satu buku favorit gue tentang psikologi dan kehidupan. The Coura...

SOMETIMES WE ARE JUST TOO AFRAID

I have that one moment when I feel overwhelmed everytime I try to voice my opinion which I think there is nothing wrong with it. Sometimes I end up asking people again even after what I did. For example, my best friends. I ask them to validate my emotions and what I just did. Did I do something right? Were the things I did right? Am I overreacting? Is this the right thing for me to do? Do you think I should stay calm about it all? There are pros and cons to it and if it’s more towards the cons, I’ll feel upset, stressed, and overthinking. I vividly remember that my body feel exhausted, I cannot sleep in a peace, and my mind keep ruminating for certain things. Unfortunately, in Asian culture, most of us tend to be quiet about everything that happens in our lives. We have a feeling that if we try to speak up, there will be some people who will hate us and we overanalyze in our minds that people will look at us differently. That’s quite normal. However, let me stress this to you, there is...

EMBRACING EMOTIONS EMBRACING ME

Hello gorgeous! This time I want to talk about human relationship. I'd like to figure things out like why this person behave this way? I always love to learn about this but, this time is a bit different because I watched quite a lot of podcast about human relationships. For instance, Jay Shetty, Stephan Speaks, and Lisa Bilyeu. Of course I don't watch all of their podcast. I choose what I want to watch based on the interviewees. As far as I watched, I'm more to Stephan, Najwa Zebian, Lori Gottlieb, Sadia Khan, and dr. Ramani. Oh I also write a summary that you can find from my highlight on instagram :) and the reason why I wrote that because I might be come to watch the podcast anymore when I feel like I want to but there is a feeling where I think it's tough since the length of videos mostly are 1-2 hours so I decided to make a summary. Maybe you would think that it is such a waste of time because we could get this kind of knowledge from everywhere. Such as, reels from...
